Chuck, we discovered last night at Halloween dinner, has been testing out the waters of internet dating. Hmmmm. I heard of a friend of a friend who is engaged to the internet fiance. Hmmmm.

I'd like to see a full Chuck report on the blog and am considering running the experiment on myself, despite my earlier criticisms of the transactional nature of using the internet to meet people. What's changed? I think I'm bored, for one. For two, I don't like knocking what I haven't tried....although my position used to be a principled one, based on how I think people ought to behave. Those principles of mine keep seeming to get tossed out the window....
