NPR

I just got a forward for a petition concerned with NPR being cancelled or cut with the new Bush administration. Is this liberal panic or potentially true? I admit that I do not think taxpayers should fund polemic polical voices...but for me, NPR IS the pride of the radio business. This is not the BBC, a once great media institution, plagued with a political agenda. NPR may lean left, but always presents a civil and balanced discourse. If Bush goes on rampage against these type of things, appoints uber conservative judges, he'll not be the compassionate conservative reaching out across the aisle that he says.
