Better at Dealing With Death

I admit to a slight twinge of sadness to hear of Arafat's really bad health and likely death. I have no idea why. The guy, through his corruption and narrow-mindedness, caused hurt and pain to his own people and the people of Israel. He, has, however, brought the Palestinian cause to the stage of the world and for that, should be credited.

Reports of death: here and here.

More on this later, but as a country and world, I think we can find ways to better deal with death.

Oh please! I find it really sad that so many people are sad over the death of a terrorist who pushed his people into a further depressed state than they have ever been in. He took advantage of them, hording funds (which is crazy wife will now have) into Swiss bank accounts intended for Palestinians so that they could eat and have medicine, and lied to the entire world about his intentions and beliefs.
I think we should all rejoice in his death and hope that no one who takes his place could ever be as ridiculous or dubious.
May he rest in terror because that's where he always lay!

Anyone who feels a "twinge of sadness" to hear of this shitbag's death is utterly without moral compass. This is a mass murderer, the father of modern terrorism. He differs from Hitler only in the resources that were available to him and the ability of his victims to fight back.
There is NO downside to his demise, except that it didn't happen at the end of a rope after a lawful trial- and that is a moral failing of the world, which instead rewarded his lifetime of sociopathy, violence and murder with the now-worthless Nobel Peace Prize.
