Turn Out

I don't know what numbers exactly are, but all indications are that the turnout will be super high this year.

Curtis Gans, director of the nonpartisan Committee for the Study of the American Electorate, said today that he expected a turnout of at least 118 million to 121 million, or 58 percent to 60 percent of the electorate, this year. "It could be higher," he said.

60% would be good. 70% would be unbelievable. Here is a turnout chart. 2000 had a 51% turnout. The highest in modern times: 62.8% - 1960, kennedy and nixon.
