A college professor at Foothill college refuses to grade a student's paper because he disagrees with his thesis? Something is wrong here.
UPDATE: A reader thinks this report is bogus, citing Woolcock as a fake name. Hmmmm, I don't think so. The first clue is that this article does not read as being funny. I googled and came up with some other sources, here and here.
I think it's real. But the picture of this kid sure looks like Jared from the Subway commercials, huh?

Greg, are you kidding me? Seriously. "We remember our one-week-old baby cousin who died while the Iraqi invaders were stealing incubators from hospitals"? Give me a break. Remember when the whole story came out where the woman who originally told the "incubator story" to the press came out and admitted that it was a lie?
This is obviously a fabrication. (A professor named "Woolcock"?) I'm not saying that these things don't happen, but I don't think the author of this article is telling the whole truth.
