USC Trojans

Man. USC just tromped on Oklahoma. We've got a serious squad...I'm positive the USC offense is better than the 49ers. Leinhart might be the best lefty QB I've seen...maybe Michael Vick. And Bush is simply ridiculous.

Norm Chow, USC's offensive coordinator, got a bunch of attention tonight. The announcers even asked themselves, "Why isn't this guy a head coach." Imagine that - an Asian American head coach of a college or pro football team. Hmmmm. Chow, apparently, didn't even play college ball, but his offensive schemes are by the most exciting in college or pro these days. USC uses the field like no other team - they can throw short, long, or super long, wide, inside, they have two running backs that are out-of-control good.

Also pay attention to what happens to Timmy Chang, the Asian American quarterback from Hawaii who broke all sorts of passing records over his college career. He'll probably get drafted, but never make a splash in the NFL. Regardless, it's not often you see Asian - particularly Chinese guys making a splash in the football world.
