i'm not mocking him for being wrong, i'm mocking him for being boring.
anyhow, your criticism of me basically boils down to not following the debate closely enough, which is fine. it's true, i don't follow it closely enough to be an expert. i don't follow a lot of things closely enough because i don't have time. sad, but true. i still have impressions and that's what the blog is for.
but i'll say this - republican or democrat - the whole tactic of screaming and pounding the desk is a real turn off and it makes me not want to listen. the republicans did it over clinton and north korea, clinton and monica lewinsky, and all the while i basically shrugged because i just didn't care that much. nor did their rants inspire to rethink my entire outlook at the time.
as far as the torture thing goes, i've said my position 100 times. what you want me to engage in is a debate about procedure, how the administration should put to a vote how to interpret geneva instead of rushing legislation through congress.
but forgive me for not being persueded by temper tantrums and CAPITAL LETTERS.

If you think he is right, why do you write posts that clearly indicate you don't think Sullivan is right?
