Letterman apologizes.

I'm a little confused by this whole apology angle on the story...an unmarried man had sex with co-workers. So what? Who would you have Letterman sleep with? Sluts from a bar?

I understand he had a "long-term girlfriend," but come on...you're dating a mega-celebrity and you ain't married. Isn't that code for - I'm banging other chicks.

Am I missing something here?
