I can't believe this pilot video. It appears to be a pilot for a Japanese sitcom, about a wannabe gangsta family....they all refer to each other as "nigga" the entire time. I find this very confusing, because it's not quite funny enough to be sarcism, and is almost racist enough to be offense.

This thing strikes me as some sort of American parody. I refuse to believe that anyone in Japan could take this seriously. I don't get it... it's definitely not long enough to be a pilot, and I can't see how the concept could possibly be applied to an entire season. A related question: do the Japanese understand the origins of the N-word?
