Two Best Sitcom Lines of the Year

"You've aged terribly." - Ron Swanson upon reuniting with his ex-wife.

"I was sorta hoping she'd ask me out. But it looks like it's gonna be up to the nard-dog to make the first move." - Andy Bernard regarding his crush on Erin the Receptionist.

I'm pretty partial to this one myself: "A book hasn't caused me this much trouble since Where's Waldo visited the barber pole factory." - Tracy Morgan 30 Rock

i think i'm a bit slow to appreciate the tracy morgan line. i remember it from the show, but didn't even really get it until reading it posted.

i love the simplicity and truth of the other lines, still. the first, knowing basically the worst thing you can say to a woman...by the way, i nominate the library episode of parks and rec as the best single sitcom episode of the year. followed closely by the venezuelan sister city. "i know where you are going with this and i still prefer the large black woman." speaking of which...also in the library episode there is the "ummm. andy." line. excellent too.

but the library episode has this steady build and amazingly poignant final scene.

and the nard-dog line, the "i was kinda hoping she would ask me out" captures with near perfection the absurdity of present day dating from the male point of view.
