Prediction: Phil Jackson Quits

I don't think Jackson comes back next year. The guy looks miserable. Can you blame him? Playing with this clown of a team. Even winning can't be fun.

And call me crazy, but are the Rockets controlling the tenor of this series? Even in the game 3 loss, it seemed to me the Rockets offense imploded rather than the Lakers taking control. The Lakers are reactive.

Hmm... an interesting prediction.

Jackson certainly isn't coaching with the smug overconfidence of his past title winning teams. It seems that losing a few playoff series (in addition to treading the waters of mediocrity a couple seasons ago) has diminished his arrogance.

I also get the impression that he just doesn't like his team very much, both professionally and personally. But that's just my rampant speculation.

I think you're on to something... Phil Jackson is having his "No Country For Old Men" moment, as he realizes that he's no match against a relentless and ruthless force (i.e. aging, and LeBron).

On a similar note, if the Lakers survive and bullshit their way to the Finals, I CANNOT WAIT to see LeBron gut Bryant on national television and eat his innards in front of millions.

It's going to be so, so awesome!
