You know, I have to say, occasionally being on the receiving end of pickup lines, I don't hate them. Most of them are pretty hilarious and if you are not interested in the person saying them, you can totally dismiss him because he used a pickup line. It's a little win-win from the receiving end, actually.
My favorites have been: "Did you play Winnie Cooper on The Wonder Years?" and "Are you from France?".

My favorite is: "Do you like knives?"
But that's one I use, not one I have received.
