A bit of a scary statistic...
My friend from high school has an older brother who attended the USC MFA Production program (like me), he graduated in 2000 and reports that 90% of his classmates, including the very talented ones, are still "trying to figure out what to do." Many of them are yet to write their first script. Scary thoughts...

Don't really get the comment...
is it supposed to be mocking the entry? Even that, which is the only semi-logical explanation, doesn't make much sense. a) There is no claim towards being scientific b) What would the science of it matter anyway?
...and if the comment is not mocking the entry, it really isn't very scientific, it's just one guy's observation.
For clarification - Yes, indeed - it was mocking your entry. (no offense, it's one of my favorite pastimes - and it's purely out of love of public musings)
