...especially around women over 40...but Sex and the City The Movie: Aren't the women just a little too old now? I mean who wants to watch these ladies romping around dating. Go home and bug your kids to do homework. Seriously.

For some reason have been reading a lot of articles on Sex And The City lately. Favorite is the Manohla Dargis one where she points out that the women in the show are really gay men in drag. I've been thinking about that every time I've seen a billboard for the movie in the last 3 days (so, like, 25 times) and it makes more sense every time I think about it.
I saw the trailer for the movie this past weekend. It was awful, but I will challenge at least the notion that the movie is about these women cavorting around NY. It appears that 2 of the characters are married, one is engaged and one is dating a guy. But they all seem to still be having sex as far as I could tell.
