Thought Experiment
For all the NFL fans who think Kaepernick "should" be a on team, the very framing of the question is wrong. A fan ought to take the position: I think my team should sign Kaepernick. Otherwise, all the rest is bullshit. Either you believe your time should sign him, or you should shut up. It's like saying - someone else should invest in Tesla.

Did you listen to Bill Simmons latest podcast with T. Coates and him convinced now that Kap blackballing has occurred? The Patriots are one team in the NFL that could desperately use a good back up quarterback right now - but you don't see him saying, yep, come on Pats sign him up! Kap is out doing community work - incredible that the guy has made this big of an impact for sure - but I doubt he's in shape to step on the field.
