The Hurt Locker

The past two years there was no conventional wisdom more widespread than "audiences don't want to see Iraq war movies." Every Iraq war movie that came out bombed at the box office and the theory was that audiences didn't want to see the news rehashed on screen. I kept saying - someone is going to make a great Iraq war movie and people will see it. THE HURT LOCKER proves me right. It is a great movie and people are seeing it.
