A friend calls me tonight in a minor panic over what's happening in Katrina...he says, "You know whose watching this - other than bereaved families, etc." I knew where he was going, "Al Queda." "Fuck yeah. They're watching and seeing how we react - this is a like a low level nuke hitting a US city."

It's freaking nuts - reports of snipers using stolen guns from Walmart shooting at helicopters trying to evacuate people. It's the goddamn apocalypse.
