Rental Market Down

Good or bad? If you're a renter, it's good. You theoretically could get a cheaper place or negotiate lower rent. If you're a landlord, obviously it's bad.

In my neighborhood there has been a lot more FOR RENT signs in the past six months. I found the same issue the author noted perplexing - where do all the renters go? And I came to the same conclusion - they are moving back with family or getting roommates when they previously lived by themselves. It makes perfect sense, but as the author noted, wasn't necessarily predictable.
