TV: Luck

I don't really understand what HBO is doing. They just premiered Luck, but then it says it will be starting at the end of January. Boy...am I excited about this show. I don't know entirely where to begin, the audience is playing catch up about what is going on, but I got enough to understand the essence. The show is about gambling. And I find some incredible emotion with these characters pinning their hopes on different things. This idea of hope, as put together by Milch and Mann, is going to be much more interesting than the Obama message about the same. Mann and Milch's hope is a tragic and beautiful thing.
